In-Studio | Plays Well With Others with Ryan Kelly

In this fun and exciting workshop, Ryan Kelly takes you through a variety of games and exercises that will call on your impulse and invention.  After so many years of being separate from one another, let's get in the room and reignite the magic that comes with sharing energy, joy and movement with each other.  Leaning on sources of improvisation, Viewpoints style movement, and a warm-up that connects body, breath and imagination let's get back on the playground. Together!

About Ryan Kelly

Ryan has been a part of the Canadian Entertainment Industry for over 25 years. A graduate of Sheridan College’s Music Theatre Program Ryan has enjoyed opportunities to perform on many stages and in many mediums.

Some of his favourite stage credits include: Falsettos (Winnipeg Jewish Theatre), Avenue Q (Citadel Theatre - Sterling Award) Assassins (Toronto Musical Concerts) Rocky Horror Show (Sudbury Theatre Centre) The Normal Heart (Studio 180 - Dora Nom) Living with Henry (Off Bway - Performance Award) Will the Real JT LeRoy Please Stand Up (Buddies in Bad Times - Dora Award Winner).

Ryan has also appeared many TV programs and Films including: Murdoch Mysteries (CBC) Saving Hope (CTV) Bitten (SyFy) Warehouse 13 (Space) Queer As Folk (Showtime) The Dog Walker (TIFF) Serialized (Incendo) Cosmopolis (Cronenberg).

Finally, as an Arts Educator Ryan has taught in the GTA for Studio 180, Wexford Collegiate, Bishop Strachan, and Cardinal Carter. Ryan is currently on faculty at George Brown Dance where he teaches the Acting programme. In addition to being a performance and show consultant for their Next Stage and In Haus presentations he has been an Acting Coach for Ballet Jorgen’s “The Nutcracker”.
