R. D. Colton West grew up in a large family in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is a multi-disciplined photographer who enjoys documenting the aesthetics of the people and places around him. His interest in photography developed during his career as a professional ballet dancer and his dance background still inspires much of his work.
