In-Studio | Ballet Lab with Sarahí Cardenas

  • The Fifth 366 Adelaide Street East Toronto, ON, M5A 3X9 Canada (map)

Ready to level up?

Ballet Lab with Sarahí was made for you. In a focused three-hour workshop, you'll work on the specific skills and details that turn an Absolute Beginner into a Beginner, and a Beginner into an Intermediate.

Unlike a regular drop-in class, Ballet Lab keeps class size small, so you get more personalized corrections and focused attention.

Drawing on years of teaching experience, studio director Sarahí has distilled the elements that take your dancing to the next level, and she's excited to share them in this new format.

Feel free to bring a notebook or whatever you’d like to take notes on; sections of the workshop will be delivered in a lecture style.

Ballet Lab I: Absolute Beginner → Beginner

Friday, August 21 | 6:00-9:00pm | $50

We'll dive deep into coordinating arms, head, and legs, and build your retention and ability to pick up more complex center combinations. Then we'll take the jumps you already know and start stringing them into combinations.

Ballet Lab II: Beginner → Intermediate

Friday, August 28 | 6:00-9:00pm | $50

This session tackles a crucial, often overlooked skill: transitions. Finding fluidity and clarity in your in-between steps is what turns shapes into dancing. We'll also work on more complex turn combinations, get you moving across the floor, and expand your allegro vocabulary.
