4th Anniversary Celebration!
Swap Market, Potluck & Fundraiser

It’s our party and we’ll cry if we want to! But they’d be happy tears of course 🥺

How wild is it that what started as a little endeavour would become an ever-loving, welcoming and encouraging community of beautiful hoomans of all kinds?

During these four years, we’ve danced, loved, cried, faced a pandemic together, moved across the city multiple times and then somehow managed not only to survive and thrive but to become the hub that so many of us (some knowingly, some unknowingly) needed. The Fifth has become the home of so many, dancers, non-dancers, movement enthusiasts, and mindfulness, yoga, pilates and meditation practices. Within dance alone, in only 4 months we’ve welcomed dancers and dance groups in the realms of Ballet, Contemporary, African Contemporary & Afro-fusion, Heels, Latin Dances, Bollywood and Irish Dance.

This year would be the first year we celebrate at our new location and to mark the occasion we would love to invite you to our first-ever Swap Market, Potluck & Fundraiser. Because what is a community without dance and food!?

Swap Market
Bring anything you'd like to rehome! Dancerwear, clothing and small trinkets are all welcome. You might also charge for these items but nothing can exceed $15.

Potluck
While we are at it, bring your favourite food, drink or treat to share with our beautiful and evergrowing community!

Fundraiser
All proceeds will be directed to The Fifth's community fund, teachers/artists’ wages and hopefully will lead to the creation and implementation of our first residencies

THIS IS A PWYC EVENT
But we welcome everyone and if funds are a barrier and you are unable to sign up, no biggie! Come and have some lunch and leave feeling loved and hopefully with a new piece of clothing!
