Cross Training is a powerful way to improve balanced muscular strength, movement coordination and lower the risk of injury. Adding TLC acknowledges our diverse needs for safety, care, play, enjoyment and compassion while we train; this allows us to be an ally to our unique body while we train ourselves towards improved wellness. This class will guide you through effective exercises to strengthen your whole body core, mobility and coordination, while increasing your mind-body-heart awareness. Offering a hybrid of embodiment practices, from functional training, somatic awareness, mindfulness, parkour, martial arts and dance; this class is accessible for all levels.

About Danielle
Danielle Denichaud started her dance career right here in Tkarón:to/Toronto with Desrosiers Dance Company and CCDT. She subsequently moved to Montreal where she toured internationally with Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal for 4 years. As a freelance dancer, she has worked with Pro Arte Danza,Dreamwalker Dance Company, Ezdanza and Aeris Korper, while pursuing a side career as a holistic nutritionist, health preservation educator, yoga instructor and rehabilitative functional trainer. Danielle is passionate about movement, and integrates elements from modern, ballet, contemporary, yoga, parkour and somatics into her classes to give the body a balanced and deep work out: increasing coordination, endurance, agility and mobility, while caring for sensitive bodies and reducing the risk of injury. Always ready with an abundance of smiles, she loves to see people caring for their body, mind and heart through conscious and enthusiastic training – sweating and laughing while they work it out!
