Welcome to our Absolute Beginner Ballet Series I. This 8-week course is designed for adults with no previous ballet or movement experience who are curious about ballet and want a welcoming, supportive introduction to the form. Series I moves at a slow, accessible pace and prioritizes comfort, clarity, and understanding. Classes are structured to allow ample time for questions, repetition, and explanation, with special attention given to introducing ballet vocabulary—often one of the most intimidating barriers for adult beginners. Dancers will learn not only how to move, but also what things are called and why they are done. This series focuses on building confidence, body awareness, and a sense of familiarity within a ballet class setting, creating a strong and encouraging foundation for continued study.
